In July 2005, Bordavekar was appointed as the human resources manager for L&T-Sargent & Lundy. Six years later, Bordavekar transitioned to L&T Power, where he took on the role of head of learning and development. This position enabled him to drive talent acquisition and development strategies, crucial for the organization’s growth.
After a decade with L&T Power, Bordavekar assumed the role of head HR at L&T Howden, working out of Faridabad. His return to Gujarat in 2021 marked a new chapter as he became the unit HR head for Larsen & Toubro Defence. This role further solidified his reputation as a versatile HR leader. Later, he was appointed as the HR head for L&T Electrolysers, enhancing his experience in the green energy sector.
