Kimberly-Clark Welcomes New Chief Human Resources Officer
Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NASDAQ: KMB) has announced the appointment of Stacey Valy Panayiotou as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective September 10, 2025. Panayiotou replaces interim CHRO Viviane Cury, who will return to her previous position as Vice President, Talent Business Partner for North America.
Panayiotou to Lead Global HR Strategy
In her new role, Panayiotou will oversee the company’s global human resources operations. Her responsibilities will include talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, labor relations, compensation, and benefits. She will report directly to Mike Hsu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kimberly-Clark, and will serve on the company’s executive leadership team.
“Stacey is a transformational leader with a track record of aligning people strategies with enterprise growth,” said Hsu. “Her commitment to building people-first cultures that are both high-performing and caring aligns directly with our company’s values. We are pleased to welcome her to the team as we continue executing our Powering Care strategy.”
Extensive Experience in Global HR Leadership
Panayiotou brings over 20 years of experience in global human resources leadership. Most recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Ball Corporation, where she led the company’s HR operations worldwide. During her tenure, she launched Ball’s first enterprise-wide learning university, aimed at enhancing and scaling talent capabilities across the organization.
Before joining Ball Corporation, Panayiotou held senior HR roles at Graphic Packaging International as Executive Vice President and CHRO. She also spent 13 years at The Coca-Cola Company, where she held various leadership positions, including Global Vice President and Head of Talent and Development, and Vice President of Human Resources for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Academic Background and Vision
Panayiotou holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and two master’s degrees from Loyola University Chicago, specializing in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.
“I’m honored to join a company with such a rich legacy of delivering performance and care—care for consumers, customers, communities and, importantly, its people,” said Panayiotou. “I look forward to working with the team to build on that strong foundation and further enhance the capabilities of Kimberly-Clark’s talented workforce around the world.”
